What are your rates?
Each client receives a custom collection tailored to their needs. Most clients invest two to four thousand dollars.
Do you shoot engagement sessions without wedding coverage?
Yes, and I love it! Engagement sessions are available all year and are treated like any other portrait session.
My wedding is located in California (or where ever), do you travel?
Yes.
Do you work with a second photographer?
A second photographer is an available option.
How long is your coverage?
My signature “story telling” coverage is around eight hours, with exact duration determined by your wedding schedule.
I have a relative who is an avid photographer: can they assist/watch/help you during the wedding?
I encourage your relative to enjoy the day as any other guest. The first dance and cake cutting are wonderful moments I’d encourage them to photograph if they desire. I cannot have untrained helpers/ assistants with me during bridal preparations, bridal portraits, family portraits, or creative couples portraits. It is very distracting for everyone involved. I also recommend everyone put down their cameras during the ceremony so they actually enjoy what’s happening (instead of staring at the back of a camera).
I’m planning our wedding schedule. How long do formals, portraits, etc. take?
I collaborate with each client to find the right balance between observing and actively creating images. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
What is offered in your collections?
All collections include the creation of beautiful images. Some collections include beautiful wedding albums, digital files, engagement sessions, and more. Contact me to design your custom collection.
What type of equipment do you use?
Professional digital cameras, lighting, and lenses by Nikon, with lots of redundancy.
Do we receive every photo you take?
With digital photography, we take many more photos than with film. Some images are rejected due to bad expressions, repetition, or technical reasons. I sort through each image, and deliver every beautiful, emotion filled images required to fully tell your story.
