This was a fun one! Heather and I met at my old rock climbing stomping grounds- Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was super windy, but we had a blast. Here’s a few from the day…

Here is little Isabella at five days old. All images taken in-home on a beautiful afternoon. So happy for you guys…

No, not a photo studio, a recording studio. I had the pleasure of joining my friends Sofo at a recent recording session at Colorado Sound Studio. Really happy with these images because of the approach- pure photojournalism. One of the hard things about having a camera is it changes people- we get self conscious, or put on a fake smile. Well not these guys, not these images. I worked to be invisible, and asked nothing of them. I definitely took away some lessons that I’ll apply with my families and weddings this year…Digging the photos? Here’s a little slideshow with more…

Ok, not really. This is Cynthia. She was gracious enough to work with me while I continue to build my high school portrait portfolio. We met up in LoDo on a glorious winter day for this shoot. Fun!

These are great photos Eli. Nice job!
Amy and I flew down to Charlotte, NC for Christmas with my side of the family. This was the first year we split the holidays between our families and it took a little adjusting. I really appreciate Amy’s flexibility and graciousness working out our holiday plans. Back in Colorado now, we’re back to the routine, I’m digging through photos, wanting and missing. Here’s a few photos from our time in Charlotte.

You’re not taking my photo, right?

A respite from the cold. Charlotte is beautiful this time of year.

I made this image into a fine art wall print for Emily and Zack. It felt so good to give them this.
