Studio session with Sofo

No, not a photo studio, a recording studio.  I had the pleasure of joining my friends Sofo at a recent recording session at Colorado Sound Studio.  Really happy with these images because of the approach- pure photojournalism.  One of the hard things about having a camera is it changes people- we get self conscious, or put on a fake smile.  Well not these guys, not these images.  I worked to be invisible, and asked nothing of them.  I definitely took away some lessons that I’ll apply with my families and weddings this year…Digging the photos?  Here’s a little slideshow with more…boulder portrait photographerboulder portrait photographerboulder portrait photographer

My family | Christmas

Amy and I flew down to Charlotte, NC for Christmas with my side of the family.  This was the first year we split the holidays between our families and it took a little adjusting.  I really appreciate Amy’s flexibility and graciousness working out our holiday plans.  Back in Colorado now, we’re back to the routine, I’m digging through photos, wanting and missing.  Here’s a few photos from our time in Charlotte.
